‘Anupamaa’ March 1 written update: Anupama saves Pakhi from getting married to Diwakar

The episode begins with Anupama getting a call from Kinjal asking her to come back. When she asks what is wrong, Kinjal tells her everything, citing that Pakhi is hellbent on being with Diwakar no matter what. She also adds that he is coming tomorrow to marry her at home.

Anupama gets shocked hearing this, and tells Kinjal to wait for her. She also warns her not to tell Pakhi or Diwakar of her return either. Meanwhile, at the Kothari house, Ansh and Prarthana wonder about their baby and whether they will have a girl or a boy. Prarthana also expresses concern about Gautam and his intentions with her baby. She tells Ansh that they should start working on the adoption process as soon as possible.

Pakhi and Diwakar decide to get engaged

The next day, all of a sudden, Pakhi and Diwakar announce that they are planning on getting engaged. Leela tries to delay the situation and asks Diwakar if his parents will come.

He dodges the question and rather tells them that they cannot attend the wedding as they are sick. Pakhi then tells Leela and Kinjal both to stop pestering Diwakar, and also adds that she is fine if his parents do not come. Pakhi then tells Diwakar to show the engagement ring, which he believes will impress them heavily with the fake ring. Paritosh supports Pakhi in the entire matter; however, Kinjal tries her level best to delay everything.

She waits for Anupama to show up and stop the engagement before it is too late.All of a sudden, Diwakar’s son interrupts the engagement, leaving everyone shocked. Anupama also comes in and says that without family, such celebrations are not possible. She brings Diwakar’s family with her and reveals the truth to the Shah family. In a later scene, Kinjal takes Diwakar’s son to another room, as Khushi asks whether Pakhi is her daughter.

Anupama says that she is, though she regrets everything. Pakhi still does not believe anything and adds that Anupama hired actors to ruin her engagement.

Diwakar’s truth comes out

Meanwhile, to save face, Diwakar tries to deny that he is not

Karan

and that he does not know Khushi and Varun. Khushi slaps him in the face and blames him for all of the wrongdoings. Pakhi continues to side with Diwakar and defends him over everything. Anupama finally shows a video that shows Karan with his family members in order to make her believe the truth. Pakhi finally believes her mother, slaps Diwakar, and decides that he should be handed over to the police.
