‘Anupamaa’ March 3 written update: The family welcomes Prarthana’s baby as Anupama remembers Anuj

Parag and Kyati discuss Prarthana and her baby as the episode begins. The former asks when they can finally take her and the baby home. Meanwhile, Prem gets excited about the baby and mentions he has something planned for Anupama’s birthday.

She is shocked and announces that she has already received the greatest gift of all.

Prarthana and Ansh talk about Gautam

As the family leaves the new mother and the baby to rest, Prarthana and Ansh discuss Gautam. Prarthana comments that Gautam will come for their baby soon and that they need to take some action. Anupama overhears this and tells them not to worry. She prays to God to keep her family members safe, and wishes for the baby girl’s good health.Meanwhile, the Shah family discusses the baby, and Paritosh and Pakhi joke about not wanting to be grandparents. Kinjal tells them to accept the reality, while Leela comments on how easily Anuj accepted his role as a grandfather when Pari arrived, even though he was not related to the family.

Anupama looks over her shoulder at Leela and then tears up as she gets flashbacks of Anuj playing with Pari and welcoming her when she was just born.Anupama says that on days like this, she remembers Anuj, Dimple, and Samar, all of whom have left the family too early. Leela asks Anupama not to cry and spoil the mood for everyone. At the Kothari house, Gautam tells Mahi that he wants his daughter and that he will not let her take Ansh’s name while he is alive.

This confuses Mahi, who asks him about his plans. Gautam tells her that he has changed after holding his daughter in his arms, and that he does not wish to give her up. The episode ends as everyone gathers at the Kothari house to welcome the baby and to have Anupama’s birthday party. Anupama also announces that she will stay in London for three months as her dance group has been invited there for a performance.
