Apple iPhone 17 Series hits stores in India: Massive crowds at Mumbai BKC and Delhi Saket

Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air are now up for sale in India. Like every year this time also the new iPhones have sparked a wave of excitement and long queues outside Apple Stores in Mumbai and Delhi.

Hundreds of customers lined up before sunrise at Apple’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) store in Mumbai and the Saket store in Delhi in order to get the their hands on the latest iPhone series.

iPhone 17 goes on sale: The early morning frenzy

As reported by multiple news agencies, the crowed started forming a queue outset the Mumbai store from 3 AM. Some of the buyers travelled all the from distant suburbs in order to secure a spot in the line. “I’ve been waiting for this phone for six months,” one enthusiastic buyer told PTI.

Videos shared on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) showed a long queue of people lined outside the BKC store, many clutching pre-booking receipts and coffee cups as they waited for doors to open.On the other hand, the Saket Apple Store in Delhi also witnessed the same madness. Customers camped outside the store overnight. One buyer told ANI, “I’ve come to buy the orange iPhone 17 Pro Max. I’ve been waiting since 8 PM.

The camera and battery upgrades are exciting”.

The devices are now available for both pre-booked and walk-in customers across Apple stores, authorized resellers, and online platforms. Customers can purchase the latest iPhone 17 series and the iPhone Air online from Apple.in, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital and other e-commerce stores. For offline purchase customers can visit the Apple Stores and authorised Apple retailers.
