Apple has introduced a comprehensive web interface for its App Store at apps.apple.com, allowing users to browse and search for applications across all Apple platforms directly from any browser.

However, the new site stops short of enabling direct app installations. The redesigned web portal mirrors the native App Store experience found on iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Users can now access the Today tab featuring editorial recommendations, browse by category, view top charts, and explore Apple Arcade titles—all without opening the native App Store application. The interface includes dedicated sections for each Apple platform, accessible through a dropdown menu.

Clicking on any app reveals a media-rich product page with screenshots, feature descriptions, category badges, and awards—all optimized for web viewing.Despite the enhanced browsing capabilities, users cannot download or install apps directly from the website. Instead, the platform offers options to share app links or open them in the native App Store if installed on the user's device. The update transforms what was previously just a collection of individual app landing pages into a fully functional discovery platform. Users can now research apps across platforms—from iPhone and iPad to Mac, Vision Pro, Apple Watch, and Apple TV—making the ecosystem more accessible to those browsing from non-Apple devices.
