Apple Store goes down as pre-orders for iPhone 17 series start today

Apple’s online store is temporarily down ahead of the iPhone 17 series pre-orders today. The company will start accepting pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 17 series from 5:30pm onwards.

“We love that early energy. Almost ready for you. Pre-order begins at 5:30 PM IST. See you soon,” reads the Apple store website. The 2025 iPhone linesup consists of four models – iPhone Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple has introduced a new camera design with the new iPhone models along with features such as 120Hz refresh rate, 48MP Fusion camera and Ceramic back across the lineup.

Apple fans can pre-book their favorite iPhone 17 series phone via Apple India Store in addition to Flipkart, Amazon India, and Reliance Digital.In addition, Flipkart, Amazon India, and Reliance Digital will accept pre-orders, offering bank deals, cashback, and exchange options. Apart from Amazon, other e-commerce sites, including Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales, have all listed the phone as coming soon. To pre-book, follow the steps below:

Visit the Apple India website or your preferred platform.
Select the model: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, or iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Choose your preferred storage and colour.
Add the device to your cart and proceed to checkout.
Complete the payment via UPI, credit/debit card, or EMI.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with delivery details once the pre-order is successful
