Applications invited for theatre festival

Applications are invited from artistes and art groups wishing to perform at the 16th International Theatre Festival of Kerala, which will be held on the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi campus from January 25 to February 1, 2026.

The upcoming edition of ITFoK has been conceived with the idea of ‘Voices in the Silence’ and the selection of presentations will be based on the festival’s curatorial vision, which is based on this concept. Details of the festival focus are published on the website.

Conditions

Applications should be submitted online. Plays previously staged in ITFoK and have applied more than once are not eligible to reapply.

The link to submit the application is available on the website https://theatrefestivalkerala.com. Details of the play and troupe/artiste and a video version of the performance should be submitted with the application. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Applications will be accepted from August 25 to September 25, 2025.
