APSPDCL Chairman suspends two officials over irregularities in procurement of equipment

Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director Siva Sankar Lotheti issued suspension orders to Gudur District Stores Assistant Engineer B. Mallikarjuna and Deputy Executive Engineer P. Shankaraiah over allegations of irregularities in procuring electrical equipment.

The company’s Director (Technical and HRD) K. Guravaiah informed about the suspension orders in a statement on Thursday. A show cause notice has also been issued to S. Balachandra, who is working as an Executive Engineer (Technical) at the Nellore Circle Office, seeking an explanation on the alleged irregularities, the statement added.
