APSPDCL launches ‘Dial Your CMD’

Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) has introduced ‘Dial your CMD’ programme every Monday, giving power consumers from across nine districts to directly dial the Chairman and Managing Director L. Sivasankar between 10 am and 12 noon to get their grievances redressed.

In the maiden session this Monday, 87 consumers participated and raised several concerns pertaining to the power supply.

Mr. Sivasankar announced that a nodal officers will be appointed in each district — Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore, Kadapa, Annamayya, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai— to address individual complaints and solve them swiftly.

Consumers highlighted various power-related problems including sanction of agricultural power connections, shifting of power lines passing through residential or school premises, replacement of burnt or stolen transformers, and addressing low-voltage problems that damage electrical appliances.
