Arjun Bijlani emphasizes the growing importance of balance and well-being in the demanding entertainment industry.
Actor Arjun Bijlani, who has spent over two decades in the entertainment industry, believes that maintaining balance and prioritising well-being is becoming increasingly important in today’s fast-paced world.Talking about handling stress, he says, “Long-term stress is real in any high-performance profession, including entertainment. But today, there is growing awareness about balance, self-care, and sustainability, which is a very positive shift.”Addressing the idea of artists stepping away from their careers at their peak, Arjun offers a different perspective. “Sometimes stepping back is simply a conscious choice to realign priorities.
Whether it’s someone like Mamta Kulkarni or artists such as Neha Kakkar and Arijit Singh, taking a pause can reflect maturity, clarity, and self-respect—not a lack of ambition.”He also reflects on the nature of fame and its impact. “Fame comes with responsibility, but it also teaches discipline. Many artists today are learning to set boundaries and understand that good health allows them to consistently give their best.”
According to him, constant pressure can take a toll if not managed well. “The industry is evolving. Conversations around mental wellness, rest, and healthier work environments are becoming more open and accepted.”For Arjun, success is not just about visibility but longevity. “Recognising the importance of health, peace, and balance is a sign of strength. Protecting your well-being ensures better creativity, better performances, and a more fulfilling journey—both personally and professionally.”
