Flawless arrangements are being made for President Droupadi Murmu’s two-day visit to the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara. According to the information reaching the TTD, the President is scheduled to visit the shrine on November 21.

She will first visit the temple of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanur on November 20  and later motor up for an overnight stay in Tirumala. In tune with the age-old tradition, she will visit the temple of Lord Varaha Swamy before having darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkayya Choudhary on Thursday took stock of the arrangements being made for the high-profile dignitary’s visit along with CVSO Murali Krishna, SVBC CEO Phanikumar Naidu, Chief Engineer Satyanarayana and Additional SP Ramakrishna.

Mr. Chowdary directed the departmental heads to ensure comprehensive and meticulous planning, and emphasise coordination throughout the President’s itinerary. He also urged the TTD officials to closely coordinate with district revenue and police authorities to ensure required compilation of security and other protocol parameters during her visit.
