On Eid, since childhood, I’ve followed the ritual of putting Mehendi on my hands

Arshi Khan, celebrating Eid al-Adha in Delhi with friends, began her day with prayers and a festive feast.

As Eid al-Adha is celebrated across the country today, actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Arshi Khan is marking the occasion in Delhi, surrounded by friends and festive flavours.“This year I'm in Delhi for some work and will be celebrating the Eid festivities here with my friends,” Arshi shared. “I started my day with prayers and a homemade, yummy festive feast. We friends also exchanged our Eidi. I connected with my family over a video call to exchange Eid greetings.”For Arshi, no Eid celebration is complete without applying Mehendi. “Since my childhood, I’ve followed the ritual of putting Mehendi on my hands.

My love for heena designs has only grown. In Delhi, there are amazing artists and better options — I loved their designs. So to get into the feel of Eid, I got mehendi on my hands yesterday,” she added with excitement. The actress is also indulging in Delhi’s street food scene this Eid. “The lanes of the capital come alive with the aromas of kebabs and biryanis. It’s not just legendary eateries—home chefs across Delhi-NCR are adding their own tadka to tradition. I’ve already started exploring since yesterday, and I’m enjoying my diet cheat for a while,” she said with a smile.Reflecting on the festival's message, Arshi said, “Eid al-Adha inspires us to trust the Almighty, feel His presence, and respect His decisions. I wish Allah brings prosperity and joy in our lives. Eid Mubarak!”
