Ashok Leyland donates truck worth Rs 31.7 lakh to TTD

Tirupati: Leading automobile manufacturer Ashok Leyland Limited donated a truck valued at Rs 31.72 lakh to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday. Ashok Leyland group president Sanjeev Kumar offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple and later on took part in special rituals performed for the new truck in front of the Srivari temple on Saturday morning.

He later on formally handed over the truck keys to TTD additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary in the presence of other Devasthanams officials. Venkaiah Chowdary thanked the donor for his contribution to the Tirupati trust.
