Athappokkalam competition in Kottayam on Sept. 3

As part of the Onam Week celebrations being organised jointly by the Kottayam district administration and the District Tourism Promotion Council, an `athapookkalam’ competition will be held in collaboration with the Kottayam YMCA and Gandhinagar Rotary Club. The event, which will take place at Kottayam YMCA Hall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on September 3, is open to various government departments, private institutions, and clubs. Cash prizes of ₹10,000, ₹7,500, and ₹5,000 will be awarded to the winners of the first, second, and third place, respectively. Participation is limited to the first 20 teams that register in advance.
