Atharvaa’s 'Thanal' trailer packs a punch, Ashwin Kakumanu turns Villain, Film set for Sept 12 release

Atharvaa Murali is one of the notable actors in the South, and he is preparing to deliver 'Thanal'. The recently released trailer of Thanal has created a lot of anticipation among the fans. Atharvaa will be seen as a newly recruited police officer.

While confronting criminals with his comrades, he encounters a gang disguised as workers. Their leader, Ashwin Kakumanu, is introduced as a former soldier turned criminal. In the trailer, the confrontation between the cops and the criminals is shown in an action-packed manner.

Ravindra Madhava, who directed this action thriller, explained in a previous interview with Cinema Express, “A tragic event makes one person become the hero and another the villain. The story is about what happens when these two meet.” Ashwin Kakumanu has played a villain for the first time in his film career. Lavanya Tripathi is making her Kollywood return as the heroine, while Shah Ra, Bharani, Selva, Alagamperumal, Bose Venkat, Lakshmi Priya, and many others have played important roles.
