Austrian economist Gunther Fehlinger-Jahn had shared a controversial post on X, calling to "dismantle India". The government has taken action against the individual.

The government cracked down on Austrian economist Gunther Fehlinger-Jahn, who called for “dismantling India", and blocked his X account in the country.
Jahn had dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Russia’s man" and advocated for Khalistan.
“I call to dismantle India into ExIndia. @narendramodi is Russia’s man. We need friends of freedom for @KhalistanNet," he had posted on X.
The Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology took up the issue with X and asked the social media platform to block its access in India. The Elon Musk-led American social media giant withheld the account in the country after the directive.
