 Tiger Shroff starrer sees earnings DROP on Saturday; film rakes in Rs 9 crore

Tiger Shroff’s much-anticipated action thriller 'Baaghi 4' witnessed a decent opening on Friday, September 5. However, the film’s momentum slowed on Saturday, as collections dipped amid Ganpati Visarjan festivities.

Day 2 collections

According to Sacnilk, 'Baaghi 4' earned around Rs 9 crore India net on its second day, a sharp decline in numbers from its Rs 12 crore opening day haul. This brings the film’s India net total to an estimated Rs 21 crore.Meanwhile, the film’s producers, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, shared a slightly higher figure for opening day. In an official post, the banner announced, “Day 1 = Rs 13.20 crore. The roar has just begun… thank you for all the love. Watch 'Baaghi 4' in your nearest cinemas!”

Overseas performance

On the international front, the film managed an estimated Rs 3 crore at the overseas box office, pushing its worldwide total to approximately Rs 24 crore.

The film reported a drop in collections despite producers offering a 50% discount on tickets via ticket-booking apps to draw audiences and boost footfalls over the festive weekend.

Tiger’s top 10 highest grossers

With Rs 21 crore in India net collections, 'Baaghi 4' is close to entering Tiger Shroff’s Top 10 highest-grossing films. The film is just a few lakh short of overtaking Tiger's debut movie 'Heropanti' which boasts of a total lifetime collection of Rs 21.5 crore.

Reacting to the audience’s response, Tiger Shroff expressed gratitude for the love showered on his character, Ronny. Sharing stills from the film on Instagram, he wrote:“Overwhelmed with your love and reactions. Even though he’s not the same… thank you for loving him the same way since part 1. #Baaghi4 in cinemas now!”

About the Baaghi Franchise

Directed by A Harsha, 'Baaghi 4' continues the popular action franchise that began in 2016. The first film, a partial remake of the Telugu movie Varsham, starred Tiger opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The 2018 sequel, directed by Ahmed Khan, was inspired by Kshanam and featured Disha Patani and Manoj Bajpayee. 'Baaghi 3' followed in 2020, a remake of Tamil film Vettai, starring Tiger alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor.In its latest chapter, Ronny survives a catastrophic train crash and battles grief, guilt, and haunting memories of lost love. Alongside Tiger Shroff, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu in pivotal roles.
