An 11-month-old baby has tested Covid positive in Dharwad district. The infant from Bhairidevarakoppa village has been admitted to the KMC RC Hospital in Hubballi.

The child has a heart condition and is under treatment. The patient is stable, doctors said.

Deputy Commissioner G.R.J. Divya Prabhu GRJ has advised young children, senior citizens and pregnant women to remain cautious, maintain social distance and wear masks when venturing out, said a release.
