Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has congratulated Nandamuri Balakrishna on winning recognition by the World Book of Records, U.K., for his extraordinary journey in the film industry.
Mr. Naidu stated on X that Mr. Balakrishna was admired by people across generations and celebrated for his dedication and passion for cinema, and his journey as a lead hero for 50 years stood as a golden chapter in the Indian film history.
The accolades won were a testament to Mr. Balakrishna’s extraordinary journey, Mr. Naidu said, calling it a historic milestone reached by the actor.
World Book of Records CEO Santosh Shukla communicated that Mr. Balakrishna had been included in its Gold Edition for recognition of 50 years as a hero in the Indian cinema.
Mr. Shukla said it was a matter of immense pleasure to acknowledge Mr. Balakrishna’s remarkable contribution to Indian cinema, and his service to society as chairman of the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute for 15 years.
HRD Minister Nara Lokesh said on X that it was a moment of pride for his family and the admirers of Telugu cinema.
