Banarasis at their melodious best

A music club recently hosted an evening that reverberated with some melodious singing. The members rendered some delightful songs that made it an engaging affair. After a formal welcome by Nirmal Joshi, founder of the club, the stage was all set for some great music.

Harish Rijhwani sang the soulful number Karoge Yaad, followed by the romantic number Ankhon Mein Humne by Ajay and Rituparna. Deepak Madhok beautifully rendered the retro number Jo Baat Tujhme Hai.

The evening rolled on as Dr Lakshman and Surabhi presented the song Rumjhum Rumjhum. Col PKSingh sang Dil Bekarar Sa Hai and Amarjeet Singh rendered Yeh Duniya Yeh Mehfil, leading to a loud round of applause. Adding to the evening was a delightful anchoring by Shishir and Shikha Upadhyay.
