People from all walks of life participated in the Tiranga Yatra, carrying 2-km-long Tricolour, J&K L-G Manoj Sinha said.

Fervours of patriotism were out on display in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, as over 12,000 people participated in the Tiranga Yatra ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.
J&K L-G Manoj Sinha said that people from all walks of life took part in the Yatra, carrying a 2-km-long Tricolour.
“May our beloved and victorious Tricolor fly high in the world! More than 12,000 people joined Tiranga Yatra in Baramulla. Citizens from all walks of life were carrying 2 km-long Tricolour. Together they marched with heads held high, hearts swelled with pride. #HarGharTiranga," the L-G tweeted, sharing the video of the march.

A nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being held from August 11 to 15.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurinderpal Singh, led the rally together. ADC Baramulla Syed Altaf Hussain Mausvi, along with other civil administration officers, army and police personnel, officials from different departments, students, and local residents, all joined in, creating a memorable show of unity and patriotism.
The rally started from Saint Joseph School, Baramulla, and passed through the entire town and culminated at Showkat Ali Stadium, according to JK Monitor.
The participants chanted slogans and sang patriotic songs.
The DC extended gratitude to the participants of the rally and highlighted the deep-rooted patriotism and unity in Baramulla.
