BBAU to open BTech admissions on June 17

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) on Saturday announced admissions to its BTech programmes for the 2026-27 session, with the process set to begin on June 17.As per the notification, admissions will be based on JEE Main scores. Candidates must register online and lock their course preferences on the university’s portal between June 17 and July 8, said spokesperson Rachna Gangwar.Officials said 150 seats will be filled through JEE Main across five disciplines — civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and mechanical and automobile engineering — with 30 seats in each stream.The university clarified that any vacant seats after the JEE-based process will be filled through CUET merit, in line with reservation norms.The remaining 50% seats will also be filled via CUET, for which a separate notification will be issued later.
