Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to China on Saturday, the Chinese embassy in India shared a post showcasing the deep cultural ties between the countries. As India celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, the Chinese embassy shared images of Ganesha found in China's Tang Dynasty and the Mogao Caves.
"Ganesha's image can be found in China's Tang Dynasty and the Mogao Caves! A beautiful reminder of how China and India shared art, faith, and culture centuries ago," Yu Jing, the spokesperson of the Chinese embassy in India tweeted.
