Beenu Gupta’s new show explores nature’s sacred geometry

Artist Beenu Gupta’s latest solo exhibition, Divinity – A Symphony of Nature which opened on June 5 and set to continue till June 9 looks at trees not just as forms in nature, but as carriers of memory, rhythm, and quiet symbolism. Each work is layered—leaves painted and assembled by hand, bark rendered with its flaws intact—drawing viewers into a textured, almost tactile engagement with the idea of the tree. Beenu works with oil, drawing inspiration from her travels and early experiences of observing India’s landscapes closely. The pieces carry a visible tension between geometry and wildness, a visual language that recurs across cultures and epochs. It’s a reflection on nature’s own design, and how humans interpret or interrupt it.Beenu Gupta has held over 20 solo shows and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions. This latest body of work continues her inquiry into womanhood, myth, and landscape—through form, colour, and quiet meditation.
