The Bengaluru police solved a murder case of a woman whose body was found in a garbage truck. According to the police, the woman's live-in partner killed her and then dumped her body in a garbage truck to get rid of the evidence. The police arrested the accused within 20 hours of finding the body.
The 40-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner, who later transported her body nearly 20 kilometres and dumped it into a garbage vehicle. The accused, identified as 33-year-old Shamsuddin from Assam, was arrested by Chennamman Kere Achukattu Police within 20 hours of the crime.
According to South Division DCP Lokesh B. Jagalasar, the body was discovered around 2 AM in the Bed area following a complaint by local residents. A case of murder was immediately registered.
The deceased woman, a resident under the Hulimavu police station limits, had been in a relationship with Shamsuddin for the past one and a half years. Four months ago, the two moved in together and were posing as a married couple. Both worked at the same housekeeping materials company near Hulimavu, which is where they first met.
