Red Alert in Kodagu
IMD has issued a red alert for Kodagu district in Karnataka on June 26. Authorities issued a flood warning following massive inflow into the Harangi dam near Kushalnagar. The residents are asked to remain cautious and follow the government guidelines. All Anganwadis, primary schools, and high schools are shut in Kodagu.
As per the IMD weather forecast, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rainfall on Thursday in Karnataka’s coastal and it’s adjoining regions. Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued in North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Along with the rains, thunderstorms and lightning are also predicted.
Landslide On Mangaluru-Bengaluru Highway

The traffic on the route that connects Mangaluru with Bengaluru is stuck. Local administration and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) are clearing the road.
