Love triangle leads to double murder in central Delhi

NEW DELHI: The streets of Nabi Karim in central Delhi were always alive at night, but on Sunday they ran red with blood. Two bodies lay lifeless, victims of a love triangle gone deadly wrong.

Aashu, a local history-sheeter, and Aakash, a man desperate to protect his family, were embroiled in a bitter struggle over Shalini, a young woman whose fate was sealed the moment she chose between two men.It started with a chance encounter on Qutub Road. Aakash and Shalini, his wife, met up with Shalini's mother, Sheila. Aashu, Shalini's former live-in partner, appeared out of nowhere, fuelled by rage and a sense of betrayal.

The knife flashed in the dim streetlights as Aashu attacked Shalini, stabbing her multiple times. Aakash tried to intervene, but Aashu's blade found its mark again, leaving Aakash fighting for his life.In a twist of fate, Aakash managed to overpower Aashu and retaliated with the same knife. But it was too late. Shalini and Aashu lay dead, their bodies cold and lifeless. Aakash, wounded and grief-stricken, was rushed to the hospital, where he fought for his life.

As the police investigation unfolded, they discovered a web of secrets and lies. Shalini left Aashu to reconcile with Aakash, but Aashu refused to let go. He claimed the unborn child was his, sparking a deadly confrontation. The question on everyone's mind was: Who was the real culprit? Aakash, acting in self-defence, or Aashu, driven by obsession and rage? The truth would haunt the streets of Nabi Karim for a long time to come. The police registered an FIR under sections 103(1)/109(1) BNS and began probing deeper into the complex case. But as they dug deeper, they realised that nothing was as it seemed. The truth was hidden behind a tangled web of love, betrayal, and revenge. An investigation is ongoing and the cops hope to conclude the case soon, they said.
