Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has declared the results for the Undergraduate (UG) Spot Round 1 seat allotment. Along with the seat allotment list, the university has also issued the minimum cut-off scores for different programmes across colleges and faculties.
Candidates can now access the allotment details and cut-off lists directly through the official website — bhu.ac.inStudents who have secured a seat in this round must confirm their admission by completing the online fee payment no later than September 13, 2025.
How to check BHU UG Spot Round 1 seat allotment result 2025
Candidates can follow these steps to view their allotment status and download scorecards:
- Visit the official BHU website: bhu.ac.in
- Click on the link for UG Admissions 2025 (Spot Round 1 Result).
- You will be redirected to the BHU Samarth Portal (Banaras Hindu University Samarth Portal for admissions).
- Log in using your application number and password/date of birth.
- The allotment result and cut-off scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and print a copy for future reference.

What's next
The spot round allotment has been prepared based on seat availability, candidates’ Common University Entrance Test (CUET) performance, their merit ranking, and preference order for colleges or faculties. Reservation policies, including Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes–Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and others, were followed while preparing the lists.BHU clarified that the cut-offs for spot rounds are not comparable to the earlier regular admission rounds. The allotment result for Spot Round 2 will be published on September 15, 2025.Note: The university has reminded candidates to carefully verify eligibility for the allotted programme before making the admission fee payment.
