G-Dragon poses in front of a private jet
Yesterday, G-Dragon's manager took to his social media account in order to share a few photos of the idol with the fans. One specific photo, however, went viral online soon after it was shared. It showed the singer standing in front of a private jet, looking at his phone. Videos and photos of the idol inside the jet were also shared online.
The private jet had the idol's brand name and signature printed on the side of it. Not only that, it also had a logo of the jewelry brand that he recently collaborated with as well.
Photos of the private jet that he was using were also found online on the brand’s official website, and showed off the luxurious interiors as well. Not only that, but the jet was also designed with minor details such as flowers and other embellishments to represent G-Dragon.
Fans and netizens offer mixed reactions
Soon after the photo of the idol went viral online, fans and netizens sparked up a debate about the idol’s use of a private jet in today’s climate. Some commented about how it was an irresponsible decision, while others defended him, saying that the comments were being too harsh and the situation was not serious enough to garner such reactions.
One comment read, “Honestly, unless he’s taking a private jet out of scheduling necessity, it doesn’t look good”, while another person shared that, “This is definitely contributing to increased carbon emissions”. Some also came to his defence as well, with one comment reading “There’s someone in the comments who clearly has way too much free time. Why don’t they just write their own post instead of frothing and flailing on someone else’s?”, while another shared “Wow, if you’re going to go on about worrying so much about the environment in the comments, you’d be better off just turning off the internet yourself. There’s a real keyboard warrior here…”
