Reality show Bigg Boss 19 has been grabbing attention with its dramatic and controversial moments. Recently, a clip from the live feed began circulating on social media, showing housemates Kunickaa Sadanand, Tanya Mittal, and Neelam Giri body-shaming fellow contestant Ashnoor Kaur.
The incident sparked outrage among fans and celebrities, with many speaking out in Ashnoor’s support. Actress Jannat Zubair also took to social media to express her disappointment over the remarks.Jannat shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, calling out Tanya, Neelam, and others for their insensitive behavior. She wrote, “A person’s body is not public property for jokes and opinions. It’s 2025. We should’ve evolved past body shaming by now. She’s on that stage because she’s talented, confident, and unstoppable — not because she fits someone’s idea of a ‘perfect body.’ Proud of you, @ashnoorkaur, for holding your head high and being you!” Ashnoor’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Rohan Mehra also condemned the contestants’ remarks.
He wrote, “Body shaming is unacceptable. What happened to @ashnoorkaur today was wrong and needs to be called out. Respect and kindness should be the bare minimum. Shame on you, @iam_kunickaasadanand, @neelamgiri_, and @tanyamittalofficial,” adding a thumbs-down emoji.Fans were equally furious after watching the clip. One user commented, “Disgusting behavior! You can’t lift yourself by putting someone else down.”
Another wrote, “Ashnoor handled it so gracefully. That’s real strength.” Many praised Jannat and Rohan for speaking up, saying, “Finally, someone called them out.”For those unaware, during the recent episode, Neelam asked Kunickaa and Tanya, “Jurassic Park dekhoge? (Will you watch Jurassic Park?)” while pointing toward Ashnoor, who was standing with Pranit More. Kunickaa burst into laughter after hearing the comment, which left fans angry and disappointed.
