Bigg Boss 19: Mridul Tiwari gets eliminated in mid-week eviction; Gaurav Khanna breaks down in tears, blames himself

Bigg Boss 19's latest episode witnessed one of the most emotional evictions of the season, as popular YouTuber Mridul Tiwari was eliminated from the show. Mridul received fewer votes from the live audience and had to leave the show midway.As soon as Bigg Boss announced Mridul's name, Gaurav Khanna, who shared the closest bond with Mridul, did not leave his seat and broke down in tears. Mridul hugged each contestant one by one and even apologised to the housemates if he ever hurt them. All the housemates got teary-eyed and hugged Mridul before his exit. Gaurav tried his best but couldn't control his emotion and started crying.At the end, Mridul hugged Gaurav and the latter broke down. Gaurav and the other contestants bid an emotional goodbye to Mridul.

Shehbaaz was voted the highest followed by Gaurav and the two became the captaincy contenders. After Mridul left the Bigg Boss 19 house, Gaurav blamed himself for his eviction and stated that he should have not taken him in his team for the task. Pranit and other housemates were seen comforting him and asked him to not blame himself.During the episode, Amaal Mallik and Farrhana Bhatt were seen blaming Gaurav for Mridul's eviction.

Farrhana stated that he always overshadowed Mridul instead of guiding him in the show, Amaal also agreed with Farrhana.For the captaincy task, a live audience entered the Bigg Boss 19 house, and the contestants had to entertain them across three different rounds. Gaurav Khanna, Shehbaz Badeshah, and Kunickaa Sadanand were chosen as leaders of their respective political parties, each heading a team. Gaurav’s team included Pranit and Mridul, while Shehbaz was joined by Malti and Ashnoor.

Farrhana and Tanya Mittal teamed up with Kunickaa.

Gaurav and his team kicked off the performances, followed by Kunickaa’s group, and finally, Shehbaz’s team closed the task with their act. The live audience were asked to cast their votes in a ballot box and based on the voting, a mid-week eviction took place. Mridul received the least number of votes and was eliminated from the show.
