Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 LIVE Updates: Cases were registered against 4 people in Bihar for allegedly clicking photos of EVMs during voting and sharing them on social media. These cases were filed in Ara, Gopalganj and Saran, where polling happened in the first phase of the assembly elections on Thursday, they said, PTI reported.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission (EC) said the first phase of the Bihar polls concluded peacefully, with the “highest-ever voter turnout of 65.08 per cent” recorded in the history of the state. A total of 121 constituencies in 18 districts went to polls in the first phase, with an electorate of more than 3.75 crore. The second phase of voting will be on November 11 and results will be declared on November 14.
