'Biker' teaser out: Sharwanand races into a thriller sports drama; film set to clash with Balakrishna's 'Akhanda 2'

Actor Sharwanand is working on his upcoming sports-thriller titled 'Biker'. The makers recently unveiled the first teaser of the film which is set to hit theatres on December 6.

In the 1-minute 21-second video, Sharwanand is seen as a biker participating in motocross.

The video begins with a voice-over, and he is seen performing off-road motorcycle racing held on enclosed off-road circuits.The teaser includes visuals of dirt tracks, roaring engines, and intense racing sequences. The makers also show the world of motocross racing, capturing the rush and risks that come with the sport. The teaser then features energetic music, complementing the high-intensity sport.

Maker's announcement

Sharing the teaser, the makers wrote, "When the roads and the odds are against you, you throttle at full speed #BIKER FIRST LAP - THE GLIMPSE out now!"

Sharwanand himself also shared a poster and video. He wrote, "A glimpse into our exciting world of #BIKER.

Racing into cinemas on December 6th!" In the poster, the actor is seen keeping a confident and stern look. While another image shows him cruising his red motorcycle.

For the film, the actor looks to have undergone a lot of preparation, not only learning the sport but also building on his physique. He is seen sporting a lean, sculpted physique and a rugged look.Directed by Abhilash Kankara, the film also stars Malvika Nair as the female lead. Interestingly, she was last seen in a cameo in Prabhas starrer 'Kalki: 2898 AD'.

The music is given by Ghibran.J. Yuvraj is handling cinematography, and Anil Kumar P is the editor of the film.Interestingly, 'Biker' will share its release window with Balakrishna's 'Akhanda 2', which is slated to arrive just a day earlier on December 5.
