Hundreds of women participated in the ‘Janakrosh’ protest meeting organised by BJP’s Mahila Morcha in Hubballi on Friday (May 1) against the Congress and its allies for defeating the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha.

Prior to the protest meeting held at Nehru Stadium in Hubballi, a protest march was taken out from the Ambedkar statue near the Head Post Office to the venue of the public meeting. The protest march was led by Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and Shobha Karandlaje, State president B.Y. Vijayendra, Basavaraj Bommai, MP and former Chief Minister, and a host of BJP legislators and leaders.
