Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest in Mysuru on Tuesday, holding the State government responsible for the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) victory celebrations.

The tragic incident resulted in the death of 11 people—mostly youth—and left several others injured. The BJP leaders strongly condemned the Siddaramaiah government, accusing it of gross negligence in crowd management.

Calling for accountability, the protesters demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and Home Minister G. Parameshwara, holding them morally responsible for the incident.

Among those who led the protest were MLA T.S. Srivatsa, former MLA and Mysuru city BJP president L. Nagendra, along with other prominent party leaders.
