BJP seeks Veena’s ouster

BJP State executive member K.K. Surendran has demanded that Health Minister Veena George be expelled from the Cabinet in the wake of a series of failures by her Ministry.

Mr. Surendran alleged here on Thursday that Ms. George was taking irresponsible stand towards issues, and the collapse of the Government Medical College building at Kottayam was the latest.

“Ms. George has proven that she is a complete failure as a Minister,” said Mr. Surendran in a statement here on Thursday.
