BJP threatening Congress MLAs with ED, IT raids: Vijayanand Kashappanavar

BJP has prepared a list of 55 Congress MLAs to target through Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax Department, and he is one of them, Vijayanand Kashappanavar, MLA and Congress leader has claimed in Hungund.

“The BJP was upset that we are not joining them by quitting the Congress,” he told reporters on Sunday (July 13, 2025).

“The ruling party at the Centre is vengeful. It is misusing the constitutional agencies for its political benefits. Unfortunately, the common people do not know this. They are being misled by the BJP,” he said.

“The BJP has never come to power in Karnataka on its own. It has always been poaching opposition MLAs. It has used fear and favour to lure them. The people have the right to know such things,” he added.
