breakingA two-day national conference of Business Network International (BNI) kicked off in Jaipur on Saturday (May 16, 2026) with industry leaders, startup founders, business owners, and decision-makers from across India and neighbouring countries, as well as the BNI’s representatives from the Asia-Pacific region, taking part.
The conference, being organised in Jaipur for the first time, highlighted the long-term growth opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups and also affirmed Rajasthan’s emergence as a thriving hub for entrepreneurship and business collaborations.
The event would create a platform for building trusted business relationships and fostering new opportunities, BNI India national director Hemu Suvama told journalists at the conference venue, Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC). “The entrepreneurial connections across different regions will give new insights on industry trends in various sectors,” Mr. Suvama said.
The BNI, considered as the world’s largest business networking organisation, operates in 76 countries with over 3.55 lakh members globally. In India, it has more than 72,000 members across 1,498 chapters in 143 cities.
The inaugural day of the conference witnessed interactive sessions for the participants and exhibition of products and ideas on the themes of business growth, leadership, digital marketing, and startup innovation, while promoting referral exchanges and enhancing visibility on the national platform.
Awards were given in the categories of national team recognition, new region sponsor and member, and core values. BNI Jaipur executive director Akshay Goyal said the entrepreneurs would get new strength to build up their own work, inspire others to do more and contribute to the society at large.
