Bomb Threat To Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini's Residence, Office Triggers Security Alert

An email threatening a fidayeen (suicide) attack was received targeting Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini’s official residence and the state secretariat. In response, the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) and police vacated both locations. A bomb squad was called in, and security has been heightened at both the CM’s residence and the secretariat.

The Chief Minister’s residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, and the secretariat are located in Chandigarh. After receiving the threat email, the Chandigarh Police and CISF increased security around both sites.

The police made announcements to evacuate the secretariat. A search operation is underway with bomb and dog squads scanning the building and surrounding areas
