Bosch Limited to acquire Bosch Chassis Systems India for ₹9,068.68 crore

Bosch Limited, the flagship company of the Bosch Group in India, intends to acquire Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited from its existing shareholders — Robert Bosch Investment Nederland (RBNI), and Robert Bosch, USA — for a cash and non-cash consideration not exceeding ₹9,068.68 crore, as per a regulatory filing made by Bosch Limited on April 8.

Bosch Chassis Systems is part of Bosch’s Vehicle Motion division in India and is one of the market leaders in automotive safety systems. The firm offers active safety (antilock braking system, electronic stability control, and new braking systems), passive safety (airbag ECU and sensors), and actuation braking systems for passenger cars, two-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
