Boy jumps from school building in East Godavari, dies

A 13-year-old student of Kumaradevam village of Kovvuru mandal, allegedly ended his life by jumping from a private school building at Kapavaram village in East Godavari district, the police said on Monday, adding that he was studying Class 7.

According to Kovvuru police, the reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. 

Post-mortem has been performed in Kovvuru government hospital. The police registered a case and the investigation is under way.
