Brittany Snow reveals she never wanted to be on reality TV. In a new interview with Self magazine published on Thursday, November 6, actress Brittany Snow opened up about how reality television affected her marriage to her ex-husband, Tyler Stanaland.“I think people forget that when I got married, I got married to a real estate agent. He wasn’t even in my business whatsoever. He was definitely not a reality star,” Snow said in the interview. He, 36, joined the cast of Selling the OC, which premiered in August 2022. Snow, 39, and Stanaland married in March 2020 and announced their separation in September 2022. Snow filed for divorce four months later.The Hunting Wives star said she did not expect her personal life to become public when she married Stanaland.
She described watching her relationship unfold on television as overwhelming and beyond her control.“It felt like it was a running snowball that I couldn’t catch,” Snow said. “I didn’t know what the heck was going on because it was so public and I couldn’t control it.” Despite the public speculation surrounding their breakup, Snow said she focuses on what she knows to be true. “I know the truth… That’s all that matters,” she added.
After the couple’s separation, some fans of Selling the OC speculated that infidelity may have played a role in their split. When Snow filed for divorce, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending the marriage.Following the release of Snow’s SELF magazine interview, many fans took to social media to express support for the actress.
