Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud exuded confidence that the Congress would easily win the Jubilee Hills constituency bypoll as people want to continue their faith in the party for development.

Speaking after admitting Murali Goud, who earlier contested as a MLA, and former corporator Sanjay Goud, into Congress along with several other BRS leaders, he described their joining as a clear indication of growing public faith in the Congress and the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Criticising the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), he said the party would be finished soon and it will lose its relevance after every election. People have seen through the lies and deceit of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, K.T. Rama Rao and Kavitha, he said. He also accused former minister T Harish Rao of playing “dirty tricks” to blame the government.

Mr Mahesh Goud said the Chief Minister is working relentlessly to place Hyderabad on the global map. “His government functions are based on the aspirations of the people, not personal gain. That is why people are getting attracted to Congress,” he said.
