Bundi teen secures AIR 8 in CA Intermediate exam

Jaipur: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results of the CA Intermediate Examination Wednesday, with 17-year-old Divyansh Jain from Bundi securing All India Rank (AIR) 8.Jain scored 487 out of 600 marks and credited his success to a disciplined and balanced preparation strategy.“My approach was simple but effective. I attempted three mock tests for every subject, set daily targets and dedicated specific time slots to focus on one subject at a time,” he said.Jain moved to Jaipur last year to pursue his dream of becoming a chartered accountant. He stayed in a hostel in Malviya Nagar while preparing for the examination.

To maintain a balance between studies and recreation, he played badminton with friends or spent time on social media after completing his daily targets.“Every evening at 8 pm, I had a scheduled video call with my family. Even though I was away from home, those conversations kept my spirits high during stressful periods,” he said.The son of a medical store owner in Bundi, Jain said his interest in numbers developed at a young age, making CA a natural career choice.

“After the exam, I expected a rank within the top 50, but I never imagined it would be a single-digit rank. I will now begin preparing for the CA Final examination and hope to become the first chartered accountant in my family,” he said.Looking ahead, Jain said he is eager to begin his articleship and believes successful chartered accountants must combine strong academic knowledge with practical insight.Apart from Jain, five students from Jaipur secured ranks in the top 50. Jatin secured AIR 31, Aastha Goyal AIR 37, Swasti Somani AIR 44, Parth Amarnani AIR 47 and Hardik Mamodiya AIR 49.
