'Bustling With Activity': Omar Abdullah Shares Lively Scenes As Tourism Revives in Pahalgam

Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam is bustling with tourists again after a terror attack. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah shared pictures and praised the region's beauty and climate.

After remaining deserted for a few weeks following the deadly terror attack, Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam is again bustling with tourists, Chief Minister Oman Abdullah said on Monday.

J&K Chief Minister Abdullah hailed the beauty and the climate of the region as “tourists from various parts of the country competed for space with local picnickers."

Displaying the scenic beauty of the region, the J&K CM shared the pictures from tourist spots in Pahalgam on his X account.

While sharing the images, Abdullah tweeted, “The last time I was in Pahalgam I cycled through a market that was all but deserted. Today I came back to a Pahalgam that was bustling with activity. Tourists from various parts of the country competed for space with local picnickers who were enjoying the cool climate & rainy weather. It’s very satisfying to see the efforts my colleagues & I have been putting in slowly bearing fruit.(sic)"
