Buxar celebrates 150 years of Vande Mataram with grand collective singing at educational institutions

Buxar: A grand collective singing of Vande Mataram was organised on Friday across all govt schools, besides Government Engineering College (GEC), Buxar, to commemorate 150 years of the National Song under the auspices of the ministry of culture and department of art, culture and youth.Manish Ranjan, the district education officer of Buxar, said the students of all govt schools recalled the glorious history of the nation and reaffirmed their commitment to its unity and pride through the collective singing of Vande Mataram.The programme at GEC commenced at 10am. Principal Ram Naresh Rai, along with faculty members, staff and a large number of students sang Vande Mataram in unison.Addressing the gathering, Rai said that Vande Mataram is not merely a song but a symbol of India’s soul and national pride. He emphasised that such initiatives nurture the spirit of patriotism among youth and inspire them to actively contribute to nation-building.
