Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in the New York borough of Queens. Fourth of the five children, he had two brothers and two sisters out of whom only Elizabeth is his living sibling.Trump was born to Fred Trump, who owned a successful construction company in New York and Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, a Scottish-American socialite and philanthropist.

In terms of education, he went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in economics.

Donald Trump's professional life

Professionally, he became the president of his family's real estate business in 1971, renamed it the Trump Organization and began acquiring and building hotels, buildings, casinos and golf courses.He also ventured into television by hosting the show The Apprentice from 2004 to 2015, adding another feather to his famed cap.

He has published 19 books under his name written by ghostwriters.Presenting himself as a political outsider, Trump went on to win the 2016 Presidential elections and managed to get re-elected in 2024 for a second term.

Romantically, Trump has been married thrice. His first wife was Ivana Trump with whom he was married from 1977 to 1990 and had children Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump. From 1993 to 1999 he was married to Marla Maples with whom he had a daughter, Tiffany Trump. And then he married Melania Knauss in 2005 with whom he had his youngest child and son Barron Trump.Today, Trump will be celebrating his 79th birthday which is coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the US Army. Thus, he will be attending the grand military parade in Washington, DC.
