CBX not included in EXO's comeback due to legal dispute, fans react as the new schedule gets announced

EXO has just announced their first official comeback after all of the members finalized their military service earlier this year. While the news has brought forth a new sense of love, appreciation, and excitement about the new music, many have been criticising some of the members, as well as the group’s management agency, about the line-up for all future projects.

CBX is not included in EXO's comeback

As per the post shared online on the group’s social media, it mentioned that while Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay will continue with the concert, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin will not be able to join future schedules due to their legal dispute with the management agency. The group is soon planning to hold a fan meeting, which will be the first official group schedule since Sehun’s return from his mandatory military enlistment.

Fans react

The reactions surrounding the decision to leave out CBX have sent shockwaves across the fandom. Many people praised the artists for standing their ground, while many others rallied on and shared how unfair this was of CBX. Many have been rallying under the comment section of all of the members’ solo accounts to ask for some action to be taken about the issue. One fan’s comment read, “Oppa i’m always support you, but im crying a lot sorry oppa.

I miss EXO so much,” while another shared, “they put themselves in this situation in the first place ofc they should make the effort, but them not included in the comeback is also part of them wanting to get out of the contract. So yeah, f*** sm and f*** cbx too.”

About the case

CBX and its former management agency have been in a legal battle for quite some time over the issue of monetary transparency as well as rightful compensation. The trio is aiming to get their contracts cleared by the company. They have also made claims about how the company has yet to rightfully pay them, and have been avoiding giving the 5.5% distribution fee.On the other hand, the management agency has shared their own claims and allegations as well, citing that the group has not paid them 10% of the contracted fee from their individual activity revenue.
