Ceiling fan falls on newborn in Telangana govt hospital; sustains minor injuries

HYDERABAD: A ceiling fan accidentally fell on a two-day-old baby girl at the govt hospital in Gudihathnoor, Adilabad, on Sunday. The infant sustained minor head injuries as the fan's wing hit the child. The baby was shifted to RIMS Adilabad, where she was declared conscious. A doctor said the fan, running at low speed due to power fluctuation, fell after being switched off. No case has been registered yet.
