Chappara Muhurta of Kudla Pili Parba held in Mangaluru

MANGALURU: The 'Chappara Muhurta' of the fourth edition of Kudla Pili Parba – 2025 organised by the Kudla Samskritika Foundation under the guidance of former MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and the leadership of MLA D.

Vedavyas Kamath, was held at Nehru Maidan on Monday.Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vedavyas Kamath said: "During Dasara, the spirit of Hulivesha (tiger dance) celebrations comes alive across the entire Tulunadu. Today, it is a matter of pride that this native art form of our land has gained recognition not only in Tulunadu but also across the country and abroad. With this growing popularity, The Foundation has been striving to add further value to the art. The fourth edition of Pili Parba, scheduled to be held on Sept 30, will be an effort to relive Tulunadu’s glorious heritage and introduce it to the younger generation," the MLA said, extending his best wishes to all the Hulivesha troupes participating in the competition and warmly welcoming the public.Kudla Samskritika Foundation Honorary President Giridhar Shetty, President Divakar Pandeshwar, BJP District President Satish Kumpala, and others were present.
