Life doesn’t always go as planned, and for Charu Asopa, it led her back home. The popular television actress made headlines when a video of her selling suits and sarees went viral on social media. After the video surfaced, Charu opened up about her decision to leave Mumbai and shift to her hometown, Bikaner, along with her daughter Ziana. The actress said the move was not easy, especially because several people discouraged her. She recently shared her thoughts on her YouTube channel, where she explained why she chose to follow her instincts.

“Many times in life, you may feel strongly about doing something, but others will try to hold you back. Your heart might tell you it’s the right choice, yet the doubts and discouragement from people around you can make you second-guess yourself," the 37-year-old actress said.

“For instance, when I was planning to shift to Bikaner, many people told me it was a wrong decision and I won’t be able to do it and many other negative comments. Despite all the negativity, I trusted my instincts and went ahead with it. The moral of the story is: follow your heart and don’t let others’ opinions stop you from doing what feels right," she added.

Charu also spoke about how she has changed her way of dealing with outside noise and drama. She said she no longer reacts to everything that is said about her.

“Your reactions are valuable, so don’t waste them on things that don’t matter," she added.

Through her video, Charu also encouraged her followers to choose kindness. She said that often, people who speak negatively are dealing with their inner struggles.

“Try to be kind even to those who speak badly about you. Often, we judge people who hurt us, but maybe they’ve gone through something tough, which made them the way they are. So, keep that in mind – stay kind and stay happy," she added.

Earlier, her ex-husband Rajeev Sen had questioned the truth behind her claims about facing financial struggles. In response, Charu shared a screenshot from his interview on her Instagram Stories. “Wow, that’s beautiful. Whatever I do is always drama for this man," she wrote.

Charu and Rajeev got married in 2019. In 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Ziana. Their relationship went through several ups and downs, and in 2023, the couple officially got divorced.
